Nh Barcelona Eixample Hotel

Very noisy in the room, thin walls, windows went into the well, technological noise was until 2 a.m.

Staff were attentive and courteous. Room was modern and clean. Location was great. It is a residential area that is near to many restaurants and sights of the town. Breakfast buffet was great. It was a typical European breakfast buffet of meats, cheese and fruits.

I have no negative comments

It is always difficult to trust pictures but this one was exactly what you could experience from pictures.I recommend the Superior room which is very big.But again if you are travelling with 2 elder people and a baby I suggest you choose a hotel closer to Pl. Catalunya without being at the square. This one was quite a walk.

I considered it a little far from all the attractions, when even to take the Touristic hop in buss you had to walk to Pl.Gracia which was many blocks away. Ok, one can always take a taxi or a subway but even to the subway station you had to walk 2 blocks to Hospital Clinic...again maybe for a couple with good time and no stress to walk it would be no problem.

Very good breakfast with global and juices, INCREDIBLY ATTENTIVE personnel. Good standard and brand-new room and bathroom with a bath. The location fantastic and magnificent far away from area.

The location was perfect for city exploration, and I loved the refreshing fruity water available by the elevator.

Strongly recommend for solo travelers looking for comfort

The room was really clean and super comfortable! Plus, the front desk staff was friendly and helped me with directions to the airport.

It wasn't cheap, but it was still acceptable.

We loved the complimentary bottle of champagne given to us to celebrate our 9 year anniversary. It was a lovely surprise waiting on our bed when we arrived. The room we booked was a deluxe room which was more than deluxe..it was luxurious. The room itself was well designed with the room being modern but not losing its home feeling. The selection of bathroom toiletries was great, it went beyond just shampoo and soap but it also had toothbursh, shaving set, sewing kit and many more goodies. The hotel staff was also very freindly, informative and spoke great English. Letting us use thier umbrella instead of selling us an umbrella during a rainy day was a nice touch. The breakfast selection was spot-on but dont expect bacon and eggs, the breakfast is very spanish with selection of hams, pastries, cheese and fruits. The airport bus also stops nearby, about 10-15 minute walk.

The only drawback is that it is a bit of a walk to major tourist destinations but if you are like us, we enjoyed walking and discovering hidden local gems such as local bakeries, restaurants and tapas bars. So this was not a problem. We would stay here again.

The staff were friendly and spoke English.

You get 30-minute vouchers for the wifi, which you can use in the lobby. It gets a little frustrating being kicked off the internet every 30 minutes and having to enter a new code, but I guess you have the option of paying to get wifi in your room.

Free wi-fi was only in the lobby.

The hotel had a marvellous and perfect location to the gothic center. I was amazed by the breakfast, it's great. It offered excellent service and great food too.

The bathroom door didn't close properly, with visible water damage present!!! Some maintenance attention is needed, particularly in the bathroom ceiling. The starkness of the room.

Modern design, clean, excellent breakfast, welcoming staff.
